In 2005, Katie and Noah were on the Gold Medal winning team at NAYRC, as well as Region Two USDF champions in all Young Rider classes. Brittany McCarthy and Cinbad
(no photo available) Rider Age:
Hometown: Cincinnati, OH
Trainer: Jacqueline Paxton and Barbara McCarthy
Horse's info: 19 yr. dark bay Holsteiner gelding
Biography: I have been riding ever since I could walk! It has been my passion, inherited from my mom, since I laid eyes on horses. I have owned three horses, all of which hold a special place in my heart. The partnership I have with my horse, Gabelle, is once in a life time. I have trained her from birth and know she will try her heart out for me. This year, in conjunction to qualifying for Young Riders on Cinbad, I will compete at fourth level with her. Though I love my own horse, Cinbad has become a huge part of my life. With his serious but pleasing attitude we have forged a partnership that I believe will carry us far this year. He is an absolutly amazing animal, and partner, and I can't thank the Paxton family enough for giving me this once in a life time opportunity.

In 2005, with a stronger partnership, Rejent and I only fell below 60% once and at the end of the season competed in our first I-1, receiving a 66.7%. I have received my bronze and silver medals and only need two scores for my gold. In 2006, I am riding a new mount, Leclusive A, or fondly known as Lou. In 2005, we received Third Level Champion at the NODA July show with a 70%. I am very excitted at Lou's progress and cant wait to start YR's with him!
